LOCAL CONTEXT
The San Diego Food System Alliance facilitates the Good Food Purchasing Program Working Group, a regional coalition of organizations that support adoption and implementation of the Good Food Purchasing Program in San Diego County. As of December 2018, over 20 organizations actively participate in the Good Food Purchasing Program Working Group.
The Working Group is currently advocating for implementation of the Good Food Purchasing Program within the largest public institutions in San Diego County.
HIGHLIGHTS
San Diego Food System Alliance recently received a Kaiser grant to conduct a baseline assessment with a school district during the 2019-2020 academic year. Stay tuned for more information!
